Wind Turbines
Rotary Renewable offers a variety of wind turbines suitable for home owners, business premises, public buildings, farmers and developers.
With its experienced team of Project Engineers, Rotary Renewables work along side individuals, developers, architects and engineers to design, specify and install the most suitable wind turbine for its clients.
We offer technical assistance and expert advice on all installations and with our own in-house engineers install systems nationwide.
The arrival of the "feed in tariff" in April 2010 has meant that PV systems are now more affordable, giving rates of returns in excess of 15% and a revenue for 20 years. Increasing energy costs will make these returns even higher.
How do they work?

Horizontal axis wind turbines are by far the more prevalent type of wind turbine in use today. Windmills, for example, use a horizontal axis wind turbine, as do most modern wind-farm turbines. Horizontal axis wind turbines work by facing propeller blades into the wind on a horizontal rotor shaft. The action of the wind causes the blades to spin, much like a pinwheel. The blades are fixed and are connected to the rotor shaft, which rotates with them in the wind. The motion of this rotor shaft can then be used to generate power.
Wind turbines from Rotary Renewables come in a wide variety of power outputs which range from 10kw to 500kw in size. Our product page shows the range of products and where they might be used, be it residential, commercial, public facility, farm or used on a wind farm.
