First 10kW Xzeres installation in the United Kingdom
Rotary Renewables have started a partnership with Xzeres 442SR, installing the first 10kW wind turbine in the United Kingdom. The Xzeres 442SR 10kW is one of the most efficient rotor designs to be tested by a third party in the small wind industry.
Wind is one of the cleanest sources of energy. Electricity generated by wind power is pollution free, reducing the impact of environmental problems such as carbon emissions. Wind energy is a cost effective long term solution when compared to traditional fossil based energy solutions. It is cheaper to produce and more efficient than similar alternative sources of renewable energy.
The customer went with the Xzeres because of its highly efficient rotor design which has the potential of producing 40 percent more power compared to similar rotors in its class. A simple design limits moving parts to reduce maintenance and service costs. The turbine also comes with a ten year manufacturer warranty, which includes full servicing for the ten years.
